June is one of the best months for this itinerary. Rwanda experiences dry and stable travel conditions, making road journeys and forest adventures comfortable. Zanzibar, on the other hand, offers warm sunny weather, calm turquoise waters, and ideal beach conditions for swimming, snorkeling, and sunset cruises.

Travel Itinerary
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN KIGALI (RWANDA)
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by a private driver and transferred to your hotel in the city. The drive takes approximately 20–30 minutes. After check-in, the rest of the day is reserved for relaxation and recovery after your flight.
Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a gentle evening introduction to Kigali, such as a rooftop dinner or short city night drive.

DAY 2 — 8:30 AM - KIGALI CITY EXPERIENCE & CULTURE TOUR
After breakfast at 8:30 AM, you will begin a guided Kigali city tour. The experience includes a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for historical understanding, followed by a drive through the city’s clean and modern districts.
At around 11:30 AM, you will explore Kimironko Market, where you can experience local life, shop crafts, and interact with vendors. Lunch is taken around 1:00 PM at a selected restaurant.
In the afternoon (2:30 PM – 4:30 PM), you will enjoy a coffee tasting experience and visit selected art galleries showcasing Rwanda’s creative industry.
Evening is free for relaxation or optional fine dining.

DAY 3 — 5:30 AM - NYUNGWE FOREST ADVENTURE (CANOPY WALK & ZIPLINING)
The day starts early at 5:30 AM with breakfast before departing Kigali for Nyungwe Forest National Park. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours through scenic hills, tea plantations, and rural landscapes.
Arrival is expected between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. After a short rest and lunch break, the adventure begins in the afternoon.
From 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, you will experience the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walk, a suspended bridge above the rainforest offering incredible views of wildlife and dense jungle. This is followed by an exciting ziplining experience through the forest canopy, creating a thrilling and unforgettable aerial perspective of one of Africa’s oldest rainforests.
Later in the evening, you will check in at a comfortable lodge near the park and enjoy dinner in a peaceful natural environment.

DAY 4 — 7:30 AM - NYANZA KING’S PALACE & TRANSFER TO KIGALI
After breakfast at 7:30 AM, you will begin your journey back toward Kigali. Along the way, you will stop in Nyanza, a historic royal town in Rwanda.
Between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, you will visit the King’s Palace Museum, where you will explore Rwanda’s royal heritage, traditional monarchy history, and the iconic Inyambo royal cows. A guided tour will provide cultural insights into Rwanda’s pre-colonial leadership system.
After the visit, you will continue to Kigali and prepare for your onward flight connection to Zanzibar (usually via Nairobi or Dar es Salaam).
In the evening, you will take your regional flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your beach resort.

DAY 5 — 8:00 AM - ZANZIBAR BEACH RELAXATION
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, the entire day is dedicated to relaxation on Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches. You will enjoy the soft white sands and turquoise waters of Nungwi or Kendwa, two of the best beach areas in Zanzibar.
Optional activities include snorkeling, swimming, beach walks, or a romantic dhow sunset cruise between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

DAY 6 — 8:00 AM - ZANZIBAR ISLAND EXPLORATION
At 8:00 AM, after breakfast, you will begin a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich culture and history. Around 11:30 AM, you will visit spice farms where you will experience Zanzibar’s famous spice heritage.
In the afternoon (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), you will visit Prison Island to see giant tortoises and enjoy crystal-clear waters ideal for photography and swimming.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for relaxation and sunset beach time.

DAY 7 — 8:00 AM - DEPARTURE
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, you will enjoy a relaxed morning depending on your flight schedule. Later, you will be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for departure, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
