DAY 1 - Transfer to Kibale National Park from Entebbe

When you arrive today, a representative from Big Apes Africa will welcome you. You will drive south to the Kibale jungle, which is also called the primate capital of the world, and it is home to about 13 different types of primates. You will have lunch along the way. After a long drive, you can choose to relax at the lodge or go on a guided walk in the community.

DAY 2 - Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Chimpanzee tracking involves following chimpanzees in their natural habitat to observe their behavior and movements.After tracking, the chimpanzees are transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where they are cared for in a protected environment.This process ensures the chimpanzees are safe and can live in a suitable place that supports their survival.
After having breakfast, you'll drive to Kibale Forest National Park, which is a tropical rainforest home to 13 different types of primates, and you'll check in for a briefing. You will be split into smaller groups later and go into the forest with a park ranger. This activity typically lasts about three hours, with one full hour spent being around the chimpanzees. You should bring along enough water to drink. After the activity, you will be taken to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get ready for your gorilla trekking experience.

DAY 3 - Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park involves exploring the dense forest to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.After the trek, you will travel to Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful lake known for its scenic views and relaxed atmosphere.
This morning, you'll have breakfast early and then drive to the meeting spot in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park forest to get ready for your adventure with the mountain gorillas. You should take along sufficient drinking water and a lunch box. For 20 US dollars, you can hire a porter to carry your bag and help you with your luggage in the forest areas that are wet or have a steep slope. After the meeting, you'll be split into groups of eight and taken by a park ranger into the forest, where you'll spend one hour with the gentle giants. Rain gear is important because Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. You will be taken to Lake Bunyonyi, where you can swim in Uganda's most beautiful lake, enjoy the natural surroundings, or visit the nearby communities.

DAY 4 - Drive Back to Entebbe

After you stay at the lovely Lake Bunyonyi, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport. You'll get a chance to cross the Equator and buy some souvenirs.
