Travel Itinerary

DAY 1 - Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your journey starts with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA, and then you'll drive straight to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is an adventure on its own!

As you travel, you'll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, giving you a wide view of the escarpment.

You will then keep going on your way and reach Lake Nakuru just in time for your lunch. When you arrive, check in at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, get ready by brushing your teeth and having a nice hot lunch.

At about 4:00 pm, after taking some time to relax, you will begin an afternoon game drive. The game drive begins at the park gate, which is where the camp is situated.

Lake Nakuru National Park is well known for having thousands, sometimes even millions, of flamingos, along with hundreds of black and white rhinos and the rare Rothschild's giraffes, which are considered highly endangered. The park has beautiful views and you can see the Makalia Waterfall there.

After the game drive, you will go back to the lodge for a warm dinner and spend the night there.

DAY 2 - Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

After having breakfast, you'll travel to Masai Mara, which is one of Africa's most famous wildlife areas.

You will get to Masai Mara National Reserve in time for your lunch. Check in at Sarova Mara Game Camp and spend some time relaxing after having a hot meal.

You will go on an afternoon game drive around 4:00 pm. Masai Mara has the most wild animals in Kenya and is a top part of any safari trip. You can easily see the Big Five, along with many other animals.

If your safari happens between July and October, you can see the yearly wildebeest migration, which is called the 7th Wonder of the World, especially when the animals try to cross the Mara River, which has lots of crocodiles.

After the game drive, we'll go back to the lodge to wash up and have dinner, and then stay overnight at the lodge.

DAY 3 - Masai Mara National Reserve
