Gorilla trekking can be moderately strenuous. Guests may walk for 1–6 hours on forest trails, sometimes on steep or muddy terrain. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
The minimum age for gorilla trekking in Rwanda is 15 years. Children under 15 cannot participate in this activity.
