Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Kigali – Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, depart Kigali and travel through Rwanda’s scenic countryside toward Nyungwe National Park. Along the route, enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural communities.

• Tea Plantation Experience

Arrive at your lodge near Nyungwe Forest in the evening for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk Adventure

Begin the day with an early morning briefing before entering Nyungwe Forest in search of chimpanzees. Guided by experienced trackers, follow forest trails while learning about the park’s unique ecosystem.

After lunch, visit the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walkway suspended above the rainforest. The elevated walkway provides exceptional views of the forest canopy and opportunities to spot birds, monkeys, and breathtaking scenery.

Day 3: Nyungwe – Karongi (Lake Kivu)

After breakfast, leave Nyungwe and head north along one of Rwanda’s most scenic routes bordering Lake Kivu.

Upon arrival in Karongi, enjoy:

Following the cultural visit, begin the scenic drive back to Kigali.

Depending on departure schedules, optional city sightseeing can be arranged before transfer to Kigali International Airport or your preferred drop-off location.
